Electrical Installation: In addition to the AC system, a 24v DC system is installed with two banks of heavy duty batteries in secure stowage within the engine compartment. A new Victron 3kW charge inverter has also been installed. The electrical systems have been upgraded and a battery management system has been installed with digital read out at the helm panel. A single phase 230v AC shore power socket is provided on the deckhouse aft bulkhead.

Navigation Electronics: The vessel is equipped with two Furuno commercial radar systems and Furuno Navnet commercial GPS plotter with C Map cartography in addition Furuno video sounder type FCV 582 and two MLR GPS units. A Sailor RT4822 DSC VHF radio is installed and a Swiftec VHF radio and a Simrad hand held VHF is also carried.

Bilge System: The bilge system is arranged with a valve chest in the engine compartment and a bilge alarm system is installed. In addition to the engine driven bilge pump, two manually operated Whale deck pumps are mounted on the starboard sidedeck.

Steering Gear: The steering gear is of Tensfjord hand hydraulic type with an electrically operated jog steering control incorporated. An emergency tiller is provided. A wagner helm indicator is installed and the helm console. An overhead steering compass is installed in the wheelhouse deckhead.

Fire Appliances: The vessel is equipped with a CO² fire protection system with detection incorporated and a variety of handheld appliances is fitted throughout the accommodation spaces. As part of the refit the CO² system has been subjected to test and servicing and, at that time, handheld fire appliances have be examined and replaced as required.

Hydraulics System: A powerful system is installed designed for operation of the crane and after deck hauling windlass in addition to the anchor windlass. Only the system for the anchor windlass has been retained although the capacity remains to operate other equipment which may be installed.

Fresh Water System: A steel fresh water tank of 2180 litres capacity is installed at the port side of the engine room, An ITT Par Max 4 heavy duty water pressure pump is installed, mounted below the work bench in the engine room and providing H & C supply to the various outlets. Showers discharge to a small grey water tank installed below the forward accommodation passageway and provided with a pump discharge.

Central Heating System: A hot water radiator heating system is installed throughout the accommodation serviced by a diesel burning boiler installed in the engine compartment. This system has been overhauled in 2009 with a new header tank installed.

Ground Tackle: The Bower anchor is a 50kg Bruce anchor carried in a bow roller and controlled by the hydraulically operated single gypsy and drum windlass, the windlass has been recently overhauled and installed on a custom GMS fabricated plinth, the chain cable is of 16mm link diameter.
